  1. I’ve been debating whether or not to include total value. As with everything there are pros and cons. For the time being, I will say it’s larger than Dividend Mantra’s but less than Asset Grinders. Using percentages does make it relative to anyone regardless of their portfolio value. Also, I’m no longer in the accumulation phase but the distribution phase, so my priorities – and viewpoints – probably differ with most.

I’ll take a closer look at you’re portfolio later. Initial take is that you have a number of selections that are unique holdings in a typical DGI portfolio. Thanks for the visit!

  2. Thanks for sharing your portfolio with us. I always love finding new blogs and seeing what others hold in their accounts. I can see that the financial sector is your go to sector by all those names listed above. I like those Canadian banks you mention and hold TD, BNS and RY in my ROTH. The only other bank I hold is WFC. Look forward to following your DGI journey and watching that passive income grow.

    • I probably waited a little too long to start this – but I’ve read many and yours is bookmarked. My main play on the banks is I hope my position is taken out via mergers and collect a dividend in the meantime. WFC is one I am accumulating – more on that in my next “Pillar” installment, but Consumer Discretionary has 31% of my portfolio vs. 21% for Financials. The Canadian bank I like best right now is RY, but I’m thinking AMTD might be an interesting way to play TD.

      Thanks for the visit!
