July 2015 Dividends

Scrooge McDuck

Growing up, one of my favorite memories is walking to the corner drugstore and reading the  comic books along with a Coke.  At an early age I was intrigued by Scrooge McDuck and his money bin in Duckburg’s hills.  One could make an argument that this was my introduction to dividend investing.

July’s dividends reflected an increase of 80.9% over 2014, triggered primarily by an IRA addition, withdrawal, and after tax reinvestment in the market.  One time factors also included WEC’s pro rata dividend related to their merger.  Going into 2016, I expect the dividend increases to become normalized.

So this month’s deposits to my money bin follow:

Jul 1 – PB, ADP, BAX, FFIN, TSS, UMBF, WSBC, UVSP, CMA, KO

Jul 2 – KMB, TU

Jul 6 – WEC (pro rata)

Jul 8 – KSU

Jul 10 – FLIC, TOWN

Jul 14 – FMBI

Jul 15 – KIM, EPR, MAIN, BANF, BCE, PNY

Jul 16 – AGU

Jul 22 – CMCSA

Jul 24 – SYY, OZRK

Jul 27 – MKC, CP

Jul 28 – CM

Jul 29 – DIS, BNS

Jul 31 – LSBG, XRX, TD, TRP
