Nov 2015 Dividends

This month was a mixed bag of sorts.  The high points were:

  • Dividend increase from BMO offset the FX hit leaving me at the same dividend (net) as last quarter
  • First dividend from BOKF and AMTD
  • First dividend from LARK and made the cutoff for the December stock dividend

The only negative for the month was BX.  As a partnership their distribution is not fixed and came in $0.25 per share lower than August.  Since I had gone overweight BX to take advantage of their PJT spinoff, I took a little hit.

End result was November was a 96% improvement year over year – keeping in mind I had one tine events in 2013 and 2014 that distort this comparison.  November 2015 failed to exceed August 2015 by 5% – one of my few quarterly misses.  But with one month left, I’m 42.4% ahead of 2014’s total.
